Recently, i have been thinking again,what are the differences in between a genius and a fool?What makes them differs from each other so much that one would even compare it to the heaven and earth.I wonder, how does a genius feel? and how about the loser ,the fool ones? What does a genius actually mean?In my perspective, it could mean two things.First is the exceptional natural talent or ability possessed by someone to excel in some field.Second, is the ability possessed by someone who is able to understand things quickly and maybe some things that normal people won't be able to.
Frankly , i do prefer the first definition.Over and over again , we have seen countless geniuses from the past few decades.Take for example Albert Einstein, one of the greatest physician that we have ever seen.Michael Jackson, the genius of dancing,Leonardo da Vinci,the genius of art, Bobby Fischer, the chess genius and etc.As seen, genius can comes into a variety of forms, such as literature genius , music genius, mathematical genius, and etc.In general,most of them excel in the field that they like thanks to their exceptional natural ability to completely master the subject that they like.
Well, these are really the "real " genius.They think faster than normal people,They excel much better than normal people in certain areas.They are what we called "prodigies"Ok, then how about the fools? In my opinion,fools DO NOT EXIST.Why? Well take this for example,let's say that you know a nerdy guy,X that gets the first in the school almost everytime who studies everyday.Here you are,getting some lousy positions in school.Now,do you consider yourself as a fool and X as the genius?No,actually when it comes to study or anything else,it just takes an extra effort to be the "genius".
If that X is a genius, that means everyone is a genius.If X is considered a genius, then X is a genius of hardwork.In this world we are living now,genius hardly comes by.Now, only passion and effort will seperate the clever ones and the fools.As i always said, everyone have their own talents , all we need to do is just to find that specific talent and bloom it.The same comes when it concerns the study of something.Just put in some extra effort and thats it, you are the genius now.
However, if we are to define genius according to the definition i mentioned earlier,then truly only some people in this world that deserved the title.For some reason, i think genius can be created.Genius are actually none other than hardworking guys and girls that have the passion for the area they are interested it and are willing to spend time and efforts in it.So,it still comes back to willpower and passion to do it.If one does not possess significant passion and will power to spend efforts into the area he/she likes,then surely he/she will not excel in it.
That's why, i sincerely think the current educational system is stupid.It is all for the amount of A's.Most of them studied for the sake of getting A,not for the sake of earning knowledge or what.The most outrageous things that had ever been done to the current educational system must be the introduction of more useless subjects like moral and siviks.How could one excel if only he/she is only interested in getting A and nothing else?The amount of stress to get A might even kill the passion for that subject even if he/she have passion.
Alright ,enough rantings.It is about time i stop.Ah... genius ... How i wish i could be blessed with some natural talents XD.The ability to excel without the need to work on it.lol how cool would that be ? yup i am a lazy man hehehe.
