Options After Spm.

Well, i remember not too long ago, i did blogged about what to do after spm,albeit it is a little messy and it is incomplete.Today, my school's counsellor came to my class and guide us a little about what to do after spm.To my surprise, he told us that there are 6 Paths that we can take after spm.So,i decided to re-blog about this topic and for the sake of it, i created this mind map for better understanding( look up!)

Alright first of all, the 1st path => Fama scholarship
You might be wondering what does Fama means.Well, it means Father and Mother scholarship XD. This means that your parent will be sponsoring you.In other words,dang you are a rich kid with rich parents that are capable of sponsoring you to either overseas or local colleges.Unfortunately, i am not one of those rich people, neither do my parents.Therefore , this option is definitely not for me.

Next,2nd Option =>Matriculation
As i explained in my earlier post, Matriculation is the instant shortcut to local universities.Not only do we get allowance of RM 2.5 k per month if we do this matriculation, we would also get 99% guaranteed entrance to local universities, o well, the 1% being how u fail all the tests and are forced to retake matriculation again.Either way, the drawback of this option are I will have to stay in the hostel there, which means i will be leaving my family *sob Sob* T_T.And the thoughts of being the minority group there scares me =.-. Yeah, this is a racist system, so to speak as it only allows a minority of non-bumiputras to get in there.( DO CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG!)

3rd Option =>Diploma in IPTA.
Alright,what is IPTA? IPTA means Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam, in other words, local universities.Oh well, if you have made up your mind on what courses you want to take, why bother wasting time getting high qualifications in STPM,A-level or etc to go other universities.Just straight take Diploma in the courses that you are interested in.Easy.. Provided you have the money that is...

4th Option => A-level in college
o.O i kinda like this one ^^. Well,for starters, A-level is an internationally recorgnized benchmark for universities abroad.Thus, if you wish to go overseas with excellent qualification, do consider this option.Not only that, as far as i know, college life will be the most relaxing and happiest moment in our whole studying life.I certainly do hope that i can go for this.As far as i am concern, the cheapest alternatives for this System will be in KDU or Disted College with initial fee starting at around Rm 5 k per semester.Hmm.... considerable .

5th Option = >Form 6 /STPM
Omg... the worst of all... (for me that is ) Form 6! STPM (Sijil Pengajian Tinggi Malaysia) This, might be the worst choice ever and only will be considered as the last ,desperate alternative for me!Why so? First and foremost, by entering form 6 , you are bound to waste at least 2 and a half years.Why bother wasting such precious time when others ,who entered colleges or went overseas could already completed or starting their degrees already?Sure, the high difficulty level of this STPM makes it harder to score.But on the bright side,upon passing STPM with flying colours, definitely your university life will be a piece of cake for STPM's syllabus is hard.... REALLY HARD!

6th Option = > JPA scholarship
It is in my wish list too ^^. If i could just get this scholarship and go overseas. Defintely all my financial problems and future career problems will be settled.As going overseas is very promising for young Malaysians students like me XD.I hope to go to Australia for an Information Technology course.Who knows, i could become CEO or IT Director for some corporate giants ?:P (Day dreaming again )
