ZOMG my voice!

Great...just when i think things could'nt get any worse =.-. You know when you are talking , the voice that you hear and thought it is your real voice that everyone else is hearing too. That is wrong ! Try record your own voice using mic and you will know. Just try it and i bet you, if you are first time doing this, you WILL be suprised.Why so?

The voice you hear when you are talking is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from the voice ppl hear from you.And i mean totally different.It is a lot worse lol * as far as i know, no one that likes his/her own voice when heard through mic , maybe singers are different?:P * Now , after searching the net, i finally found the answer or rather answers.

The 1st reason is because the voice you hear when you speak is largely through bone conduction (your vocal cords vibrating your neck and skull, which transmits directly to your inner ear). The voice you hear in a recording (or over a microphone) is the voice other people hear.

The 2nd reason is because what you hear when you speak is a result of two signals, one coming from your ears (that is from your mouth into the surrounding air and then from there to the ears) and the second a direct feed from your vocal chords to your ear drums and auditory nerves. So, when you hear your voice from an audio recorder, it sounds different.

I dunno which of the two answers is correct or maybe even both are correct but there is one thing that is confirmed for sure, that is the voice you hear from your mic is the voice other ppl hear. The bad news is that the voice that i hear from mic..... SUCKSSSSS . ZOMG la and to think the whole time i was singing like a monkey in my class everyday . Crap man, How i wish there is a hole right here.I wanan dig a hole and hide myself inside already! For now , let this pictures represent my emotions.

*P.S STREAMYX really gets on my nerve.It is VERY VERY SLOW NOW and i am experiencing tortoise-like speed now.Even going to Youtube takes a longer time than usual to load ==.Geez,malaysian connection... when will WiMAX arrive * sigh* *
